Tal como parece que es el test, no parece fácil de engañar. Quizás aumentando las presiones recomendadas (y que luego en uso real se usen inferiores). O habría que ver si hacen el test de homologación en todas las medidas, y si hacen algún tipo de ponderación en función del tamaño. Si no es así quizás empecemos a ver Neumaticos deportivos en medidas más pequeñas.

Testing Rolling Resistance
A tyre is mounted to a specially designed two-metre drum. It is then rotated with a defined load and pressure.

The test engineers have the torque required to rotate the drum before the tyre is fitted, so they are able to calculate the torque of the tyre by subtracting the new level required when the tyre is mounted against the level when it is not.

It is through calculating the difference of the drum's torque with or without the tyre that they can record what is known as the 'Rolling Resistance Coefficient'. This is what is used to work out the correct grading for the new tyre label.

Dicho esto, el test me parece una cutrada. Claramente perjudica a las gomas con más grip.

Pues vaya..... ahora que si se prohíben igual lo miran un poco mejor. Porque ya estaríamos hablando de fraude grave, de vender un producto no legal, no solo vender un producto con una prestación que no tiene.
