Aston Martin at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show

22 February 2017, Gaydon: Aston Martin marks the 87th Geneva international Motor Show with a significant trio of major debuts.

In addition to being the global motor show debut of the acclaimed new Vanquish S – the most powerful and dynamic iteration of Aston Martin's Super GT – the British luxury brand is also proud to announce the European show debut of the AM-RB 001. This ongoing collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, the AM-RB 001 is a thrilling demonstration of technological innovation and design sophistication, resulting in a truly contemporary hypercar.

Finally, Aston Martin will be showcasing the marque’s enhanced Q by Aston Martin bespoke service with the unveiling of ‘Q by Aston Martin – Collection’ at Geneva. Aston Martin is pleased to announce a new era of tailor-made sports cars with the expansion of its personalisation service. Q by Aston Martin has evolved into a multi-tiered offering, giving customers almost limitless opportunities to create their own unique Aston Martin through enhanced levels of design and customer interaction.

Q by Aston Martin has grown substantially since it was established in 2012. 'We set strong foundations for the service and we've had continued success,' says Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, 'now we have the opportunity to work with our customers and take personalisation to a different level.'

Q by Aston Martin - Collection

The Q by Aston Martin - Collection brings an array of distinctive design touches to your Aston Martin. This selection of exclusive trim and enhancements can be added to your Aston Martin at the point of specification and installed and hand-finished at the luxury marque’s Gaydon headquarters. Going above and beyond the standard options list, Collection includes exclusive paint and upholstery colours, material finishes and craft elements. These range from a unique leather quilt upholstery pattern to tinted wheel finishes that incorporate body-coloured blades to the diamond turned spokes, as well as the use of new wood and leather interior elements.

DB11 Q by Aston Martin

The range and breadth of the new Q by Aston Martin - Collection is demonstrated by the exclusive DB11 showcased at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor Show. DB11   Q by Aston Martin is finished with exclusive Zaffre Blue paint, paired with gloss, satin twill and forged carbon fibre details including - front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser side strakes, bonnet strakes and door mirrors. Inside, the upper and lower cabin environments are cloaked in swathes of Obsidian Black Semi-Aniline leather, with the Q by Aston Martin Logo embossed on the headrest. While carbon fibre wheel centres and engine cover add subtle touches. The colour matched four-piece luggage set is also available through Collection.

Q by Aston Martin - Commission

The second stage of Aston Martin's enhanced offering is ‘Q by Aston Martin – Commission’, a step into the world of the truly bespoke, individual sports car. Commission is exactly that, a process that starts with a conversation and ends with a car, a journey that involves a personal collaboration with Aston Martin's design team. 'It's a commissioning process,' says Dr Matthew Bennett, General Manager for the Q by Aston Martin service 'the customer is working much more closely with us here at Gaydon. The only limit is your imagination – every new commission starts with a blank sheet of paper.' Aston Martin's global dealership network is also working closely with Commission to create ultra-limited run series with features and design elements that are distinct to their regions and customers.

Q by Aston Martin - Commission can also go further. The ultimate commission is, of course, an entirely unique car. Aston Martin has a long and storied history of building individual cars, working alongside true enthusiasts who wish to see their vision translated into something never seen before. Q by Aston Martin is perfectly placed to realise these dreams. 'You're talking about the fundamentals of how a car comes together,' Dr Bennett says, 'there is as much reward in the interaction with Aston Martin as there is in the final car. It is a journey.'

Marek Reichman describes Commission as 'fulfilling a creative need – we're experts providing a consultation, like a Savile Row tailor or a yacht builder.' The collaboration with Q by Aston Martin can begin at the company’s headquarters, your dealership or at Aston Martin's dedicated brand centre, No. 8 Dover Street, where the Q by Aston Martin options will be on display. 'In terms of material choices we now have so much,' says Reichman, 'we now have materials that show patina as customers want that sense of age and history. For us, that's beautiful.'

Examples of previous commissions by Q by Aston Martin include the CC-100 Speedster Concept created for the company’s centenary in 2013 and the Vantage GT12 Roadster, a one-off open-top version of the extreme 600PS race-bred Vantage GT12 Coupe. Only Q by Aston Martin - Commission has the experience, expertise and skill to translate such innovative forms into beautiful reality.

'The Vantage GT12 Roadster was a hugely exciting project,' says Aston Martin's President and CEO Dr Andy Palmer, 'it was a vivid demonstration of Q by Aston Martin’s capabilities. We have a truly formidable creative team, from engineering to design. With Commission our customers have the potential to create some of the most iconic and legendary Aston Martins of the future.'

An Aston Martin should be a reflection of the things you hold closest to your heart. Customisation and innovation come together through Q by Aston Martin, providing the opportunity to create a truly tailor-made automobile.

Alfa Romeo en el salón
- MiTo Veloce
- Giulietta Veloce
- Giulia
- Stelvio
- 4c Spider

Nota de prensa, en inglés
Alfa Romeo at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show

Alfa Romeo cars have been exerting a unique appeal with their Italian style for over a century, and once on board and with the engine running, drivers can fully appreciate their sophisticated technology and enjoy an unrivalled driving experience on any type of road and in all weather conditions. These same features are all found in the Alfa Romeo "engineering creations" on display at the Geneva International Motor Show: Stelvio, Giulia, 4C Spider, Giulietta and Mito.  They are all amazing cars, to thrill on the road and on the track; after all, the Brand has always revolved around those who expect their car to transcend the concept of "useful means of transport" and cross over to that of "real emotions".

Alfa Romeo Stelvio: the Italian Brand's first SUV in more than a century of history

The star of the stand is sure to be Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the first SUV ever built by the Italian Brand, which, for the first time in more than a century of history, now expresses the genuine "Alfa spirit" in a sport utility vehicle. The result is a car that will delight even the most demanding motorist with a thrilling driving experience while excelling in the comfort and versatility expected of this category. Alfa Romeo Stelvio makes any journey unique, alone or in the company of friends and family, thanks to the perfect mix of driving pleasure, Italian style and versatility.

The Swiss catwalk will feature the exclusive "First Edition" 280 HP 2.0 Turbocharged petrol version, launched to great acclaim in EMEA two months ago, and two new Super versions, one with a 210 HP 2.2 Diesel and the other with a 180 HP 2.2Dieselengine, both with automatic 8-speed transmission and Q4 all-wheel drive. One of the cars also displays exclusive Mopar accessories in dark, glossy miron colour: the "V" of the front grille, the rear view mirror caps, the rear skid plate and the 20" alloy wheels. To conclude, the mouth-watering display is completed by the amazing Stelvio Quadrifoglio with 510 HP 2.9 V6 Twin Turbo petrol engine, which made its worldwide debut in Los Angeles last November.

The multiple award-winning Alfa Romeo Giulia

Alongside the Alfa Romeo SUV will be the lovely Giulia, the sports sedan that ushered in the Brand's new era in 2016, rewriting the style, sportiness and technology rulebooks.  The Giulia model is a unique blend of all the factors that have made Alfa Romeo one of the most desirable Brands: distinctively Italian design, high-performance engines, impeccable weight distribution, unique engineering features and the best weight/power ratio. Today, the same ingredients have been adapted to a new category, the original Stelvio SUV.

The Geneva stand will display two Giulia Veloce cars, exhibiting this version's style and the exclusive contents worthy of a name with a proud Alfa Romeo tradition: the "Veloce" designation was first used in 1956 for the Giulietta model, and since then it has denoted the Brand's sportiest, most distinctive versions. To find favour with customers in search of contents packed with personality, the Swiss exhibition will showcase an Alfa Red Giulia Veloce with 280 HP 2.0 turbocharged petrol engine, automatic 8-speed transmission and Q4 all-wheel drive. It will be partnered by a second Giulia Veloce, in Stromboli Grey colour, with 210 HP 2.2 Diesel engine, automatic 8-speed transmission and Q4 all-wheel drive.

The Giulia section will be completed by a Competizione Red Quadrifoglio equipped with a 510 HP 2.9 V6 Twin Turbo petrol engine, combined with the automatic 8-speed transmission, and featuring ultralight black five-hole 19" wheels, higher-power brake system with carboceramic discs, and racing-style wraparound leather and Alcantara seats with electric 8-way adjustment. The car on show will also display carbon accessories by Mopar, including the "V" trim on the radiator grille, the door mirror caps, the illuminated kick plate and the special gear knob.

A new version will be launched in March to extend the range's Diesel offering: Giulia Super 2.2 180 HP AT8 Q4. Based on the most popular engine and version, this new variation is intended mainly for customers desiring all the benefits of the innovative Q4 on demand all-wheel drive system - standard on the Giulia Veloce - but with a less sporty look than the Veloce. To satisfy customers who favour a strongly sporty look, the new Interior and Exterior Veloce Packs will also be on sale from March. Available on Giulia Super, the packs allow personalisation of both the interior (heated, electric, racing-style seats in perforated leather and aluminium dashboard insert and door panel) and the front and rear bumpers, with the exclusive contents normally specific to the Veloce version.

The Veloce versions of the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Alfa Romeo Mito

The spotlights at the show will also be on the new Giulietta and the Mito, the two restyled models which present a notable family feeling with the enchanting Giulia, as can be seen in the new nose that features the exclusive grille and the legendary trefoil, arguably one of the most famous and recognisable symbols in the automotive world. Specifically, a 240 HP 1750 Turbocharged petrol Giulietta Veloce with TCT automatic transmission will be on display in Geneva. In Alfa Red, this high-performance car's exterior will feature the new sporty bumpers with red inserts, the glossy anthracite trims, the higher-powered Brembo brake system with red callipers, the 18" diamond alloy wheels with burnished finish and the extra-large twin tailpipes. The same sporty imprint has been given to the interior, enhanced by racing-style seats in leather and Alcantara with integral headrest, contrasting red stitching and sporty steering wheel with cut leather wrapping. What's more, the Giulietta Veloce on show features carbon accessories from the Mopar catalogue, such as the rear spoiler and the door mirror caps, as well as specific elements such as the illuminated kick plate, courtesy lights with lit logo, the oversized exhaust pipes and the skirts with Alfa Red insert.

To conclude this outstanding selection, the Alfa Romeo stand also displays a Mito Veloce with 170 HP 1.4 MultiAir Turbocharged petrol engine and TCT automatic transmission: it is the sportiest version of the Mito model, the compact sports car targeting customers who appreciate Italian style and seek technical excellence tailored to driving pleasure. Luxury features: 18" burnished alloy wheels, red brake callipers and sporty fabric and Alcantara seats.

4C Spider: the Brand's modern icon

Also on the stand will be the captivating Alfa Romeo 4C, the Brand's modern icon, which represents the sports soul written into the Alfa Romeo DNA: optimum performance and excellent engineering designed for ultimate pleasure to drive in breathtaking style. Visitors to Geneva will be able to admire a car in exquisite metallic Stromboli Grey, featuring carbon fibre roll-bar cover as well as the titanium central dual-mode exhaust system by Akrapovič. This car's thoroughbred sporting pedigree is also reflected by black brake callipers, racing-style seats and the black leather dashboard.

It is equipped with the powerful, all-aluminium 240 HP 1750 Turbocharged petrol engine, characterised by direct injection with intercooler and twin phase variators. Combined with the TCT automatic transmission, it delivers supercar performance: weight/power ratio of less than 4kg/HP, top speed of 258 km/h (257 km/h for the 4C Spider), to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, lateral acceleration of 1.1 g and maximum braking deceleration of 1.25 g. These performances are aided by the lavish use of ultralight materials, including carbon fibre for the shell, aluminium for the front and rear chassis framework and SMC (low-density compound) for the bodywork.

A stand with a strong racing personality

Alfa Romeo comes back to the Geneva International Motor Show with an impressive display area featuring unprecedented construction details and a sophisticated game of lights that emphasise the major new product features. A striking stand with an eye-catching racing-motif flooring that underlines Alfa Romeo cars' legendary performances. Also on display are products from the merchandising collection, made from state-of-the-art technical materials, such as carbon for the ballpoint pen and ultra-lightweight, non-allergic Nycrotech for a number of items of women's jewellery, including the bracelet and pendant.

In addition, thanks to the informative leaflets and the special elements placed on the stand, the audience will get a chance to become acquainted with the products of FCA BANK, the financial company specialising in the automotive sector. The company operates on the main European markets, and in Switzerland through FCA Capital Suisse SA, with a sole mission: to support the sales of all Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brand vehicles through innovative financial products and high added value services dedicated to dealer networks, private clients and companies.

- Panda Natural Power
- Tipo S-Design
- 500X S-Design
- Fullback Cross
- 124 Spider

Nota de prensa, en inglés
FIAT AT THE 2017 GENEVA INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW

-    Fiat is celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of 500 in Geneva with an exclusive limited number special series.
-    The S-Design trim level makes its début on 500X and on Tipo: the ideal solution for those seeking a combination of style and distinctive, dynamic contents.
-    The Fullback Cross, the version with exclusive look and lifestyle soul, receives its world premiere.
-    The 124 Spider is making a comeback with the new "Europa" limited edition, designed to celebrate its forerunner of the same name designed by Pininfarina.
-    The Panda Natural Power confirms the leadership of FCA in the field of bi-fuel petrol and natural gas-powered vehicles.

At the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, the Fiat brand will be showing its two identities, both of which stand side-by-side, forming part of an increasingly wide and complete range. The two worlds that characterise the brand, the functional and the emotional, are evoked by the symbolism of the stand and, in a practical sense, by the vehicles exhibited.

In 2017, FCA will be celebrating the sixtieth birthday of the iconic 500: the star of the show will be the special limited edition to mark the 60th anniversary, which will feature an exclusive look and unique contents including new two-colour paintwork and specific 16" alloy wheels. It will be joined by 500S, the more dynamic, male version of this Fiat icon. The Swiss event will also witness the début of the new S-Design versions, a perfect combination of style and contents designed to meet the requirements of a dynamic, sporty clientele: this new image will be flaunted by the Fiat Tipo 5Doors and the 500X on the stand. Not to mention an appearance by the whole Tipo family: representing personality, simplicity and functionality with unbeatable value for money.

Exclusive details, uncompromising off-road performance and outstanding versatility: on board the new Fiat Fullback Cross pick-up, there is room for meeting everyone's requirements, whatever they may be. The spotlight will then fall on an exciting vehicle that treats the motorist to a true roadster experience, combined with an all-Italian style: the 124 Spider, with the new "Europa" special series, built in a numbered limited edition. Personality and style are also at the top of the list for the Panda, Italy's best-selling car in its segment since 2012. The stand will host the Cross version, which crams all the functional features of the off-road vehicles in the category above it into just 370 centimetres of space, as well as the Natural Power, which reduces emissions while still guaranteeing a pleasant, comfortable driving experience. 500L is on show in the Trekking version in a two-colour livery underlining the model's crossover personality, reinforced by the Traction+ technology.

And last but not least, the stand will feature areas dedicated to Mopar and FCA Bank, both providing true added value for all motorists in the form of excellent products and services.

Fiat 500 special series to mark the 60th anniversary

There are dates which are destined to remain firmly lodged in our collective memory; moments which, in the short-term, or with the passing of time, can prove to be revolutionary. One of the dates which has undoubtedly managed to escape the anonymity often imposed by the calendar is the 4th of July, 1957. Indeed, this was the momentous date on which the "500" was first produced in Turin, the "big small car" which soon became the emblem of the concept of driving for the mass market. The figures linked to this success may be significant, but they are simply not enough to tell the whole story. Over 4 million vehicles have been sold, but there's more to understanding this car than that. Instead, the trick is to widen our perspective and pay particular attention in order to round up all the innovative features that the 500 has crammed into a space of less than three metres, not only with regard to the motoring world but in relation to society in general. Fifty years on, again on the 4th of July, Fiat used its popularity as leverage for accelerating towards the future with the 500 of the new millennium and in the first months of 2017 will break the record of two million cars sold. Another peaceful revolution on the roads of the world, a vehicle capable of combining what seem to be contrasting values: it is exclusive but accessible, it is elegant but fun, it is quinquennially Italian but is a global best-seller sold in 100 countries. Interestingly 80% of all 500s were sold outside Italy.

When Fiat celebrates sixty years of its global icon, for the occasion, the Geneva show will provide the stage for the launch of the special 60th anniversary series. This exclusive numbered limited edition pays tribute to the original 500 through a specific characterisation and the contemporary reinterpretation of some of the style details that made it famous, such as the vinyl dashboard, the vintage logo on the front, between the chrome spoiler and on the boot door and steering wheel, as well as the chrome finish on the bonnet. Exclusively available as a convertible, the Fiat 500 special 60th anniversary series presents brand new dual-colour paintwork evocatively named Dolcevita: Three-layer White for the body of the car and pastel Ivory for the bonnet and pillars. The grey and burgundy waistrail enhances this chromatic combination, whereas the colour chosen for the hood is grey. The style of this special series is enhanced by its many cool aesthetic details, such as chrome mirror caps, special 16" lightweight alloy wheel rims and a dedicated logo: 560. Here we truly have a brand within a brand, as the red "6" and "0" are contained in the last two figures of the 500 logo. This exclusive badge adorns the pillar and also appears on the chrome sill and the numbered limited edition nameplate. The Fiat 500 60th anniversary special series will be available for order from 9 March; the edition will total 560 cars, all with individual authenticity certificate, for sale on the main EMEA region markets with delivery from 4 July. The interior also presents retro details, such as the tubular elements of the seats in ivory leather with contrasting burgundy seams, which match the central part of the dashboard, and the bespoke dual-colour car mats. But the tribute to the past is only skin deep: in terms of technology, the 60th anniversary special series offers the very best of everything available today when it comes to technology and on-board comfort. Standard features include a leather gear stick knob and steering wheel with built-in commands, the 7" UconnectTM Radio Live touchscreen system with Bluetooth, satellite navigator and USB and AUX IN ports; 7" TFT, automatic climate control, fog lights and rear parking sensors. The MY2017 innovations are also present: Speed Limiter and Cruise control and, on request, the CarPlay and Android AutoTM system; this makes possible for users to access the main applications of their smartphones directly on the 7" screen of the UconnectTM system integrated on the central console.

With Apple CarPlay support, the smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in the car, drivers can get directions optimized for traffic conditions, make and receive calls, access text messages, and listen to music, all in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road.

The Android Auto integration allow to manage the compatible content and features on the device directly from the driving seat, getting directions, making calls, sending and receiving messages, and listening to music, always driving safely.

Rain & Dusk sensor, Bi-Xenon headlights, tinted rear windows and Beats AudioTM system repeat this impressive outfit. The selection of engines available on the 500 Sessantesimo is wide-ranging and complete, with two petrol engines - also available with robotic Dualogic gearbox and paddle shift - the 1.2 with 69 HP and the 0.9 TwinAir with 85 HP. In the combined cycle, this results in a consumption rate of 3.8 litres/100km. All engines are Euro 6, including the small turbodiesel 1.3 16v Multijet II 95 HP version. The vehicle on the stand will be a 1.2 69 HP, fitted with Stop & Start.

S-Design

The S-Design is the Fiat answer to those who seek style and content with a contemporary, dynamic and distinctive character. This version combines sportiness, style and seduction that captivate at first glance: a striking personality reflecting the young male target and well tailored to both the brand's worlds, both functional and emotional. Geneva will see the debut of the 500X S-Design and the Tipo 5-door S-Design, for those who wish their car to strongly express their own dynamic style.

Fiat 500X S-Design

Introducing the Fiat 500X S-Design, the new special series which combines a new concept of urban sporting feel and attention to detail in its two identities: City Look and Off-Road. Available for order from June, the car on the stand, an S-Design City Look in the new matt Alpi Green colour, is fitted with the high-performance 140 HP (103kW) 1.4 Multijet engine and has an automatic DCT dual clutch transmission. Its exclusive matte livery sports details in polished steel such as the side mouldings, door handles, front spoiler, the rim of the rear headlights, the handle of the boot and the mirror caps. It also features tinted rear windows. The car on display has 18" wheels and a distinctive two-colour finish. To complete the effect, the Xenon headlights, also burnished, give the 500X an immediately recognisable, dynamic, distinctive "face". These dark details are also replicated in the style of the interior, for example in the dashboard panel and in the mouldings of the central tunnel and door panels. Again in the interior, the specific S-Design seats feature a sporty fabric with embroidered, copper coloured logo.

With S-Design, the unmistakeable elegance of 500X is enhanced with a touch of modern style and a sporty identity.

Fiat Tipo 5Doors S-Design

On the stand, visitors will be able to admire the new S-Design Tipo 5Doors that brings the family additional dynamic style and personality in the bespoke "Metropoli Grey" livery, exclusively designed for this version. The car is immediately recognisable thanks to its distinctive wide grille with Piano Black trims, which embraces the whole of the front and ends with an even more aggressive feature in the Bi-Xenon front headlights with the same trims. Making their first appearance in the Tipo family, the Bi-Xenon units enhance performance by 30% compared to the standard version. The Piano Black details continue around the edges of the sporty air inlets and on the rear view mirror caps. The new diamond pattern 18" alloy wheels give another very dynamic touch to the car's image, while the version is completed by tinted rear windows and features such as the handles coloured to match the bodywork.

The interior is completely restyled, with leather and fabric seats and tactile finishes chosen for their strong, distinctive personality.

The double stitching of the seats in leather and Airtex match those on the gear stick knob and steering wheel in "technoleather" with a criss-cross pattern. The dashboard features details in "Piano Black" and has a large fascia in Technical Grey which spans the whole width of the cabin.

Under the bonnet of the car on show is the 1.4 T-jet engine that develops 120 HP (88 kW) of maximum power achieved at 5.000 rpm and has a maximum torque of 215 Nm at 2.500 rpm. This guarantees high gear flexibility and a rapid, bold response. The S-Design version, also available in Cinema Black, Amore Red, Gelato White and Colosseo Grey colours and with 120 HP 1.6 Multijet Diesel engine with manual gearbox or automatic transmission with DCT dual clutch, 110 HP 1.6 E-Torq petrol engine with automatic transmission and a 120 HP LPG-Petrol 1.4 T-jet unit, is a characterful, stylish addition to the Tipo family, and will shortly also be offered on the Tipo Station Wagon.

Fiat 124 Spider Europa

The new Fiat 124 Spider is an exciting 2-seater, the only Fiat 2-seater, capable of winning over the new generations. This already occurred back in 1966, with its legendary predecessor, which rode the characteristic wave of euphoria which swept through the 1960s with the wind in its hair. Today, its style embodies the timeless beauty of its predecessor while remaining true to its real self and it guarantees high levels of performance, technology and safety.

At the Geneva Motor Show, visitors will be able to admire the new special limited edition series, 124 Spider Europa, which celebrates the launch of the original version by Pininfarina at the same event 36 years ago, with a new, special set of features. The model on display will flaunt its best features in Passione Red bodywork, the ultimate colour that identifies Italian sporty "2-seaters" and a set of 17" four-spoke alloy wheels, developed by Mopar as a tribute to the original version. An additional touch of style is added by the silver rear view mirror caps and black leather seats. The vehicle contains a wide range of equipment: 4 airbags, full-led front headlamps with Adaptive Front Light System, which direct the beam of light based on the speed and the direction of the curve, 7" radio, mp3 with USB port and premium Bose Hi-Fi system with 9 speakers, including a dual speaker set in the headrest of both seats and a subwoofer, leather steering wheel. Cruise control, keyless entry, rear camera and navigation system with 3D maps.

Finally, the 124 Spider Europa has a celebratory, numbered plaque inside and the 124 logo on the front grille. From a technical viewpoint, the vehicle on display at the Motor Show is fitted with manual 6-gear transmission, combined with a 4-cylinder turbo 1.4 litre engine featuring MultiAir technology, which provides 140 HP of power and 240 Nm of torque for impressive performances: 215 km/h (133 mph) maximum speed, and only 7.5 seconds for accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h. The 124 Spider system features a high double wishbone suspension on the front and a multi-link on the rear. Steering is precise and responsive with the use of an electric power assist system. In short, the combination of the steering and suspension set-ups lightweight frame, balanced weight distribution and turbocharged engine ensures a dynamic driving experience.

Natural Power

The stand in Geneva will be reserving a space dedicated to sustainable mobility, which will host a Panda Natural Power. The Panda celebrates the milestone of the 300,000th natural gas car built since 2006, and is in Lounge version with a livery specially created for the event. It has the 80 HP TwinAir Turbo Natural Power engine. This bi-fuel two-cylinder version develops 80 HP (59 kW) and consumes 4.5 litres of petrol or 3.1 kg of natural gas every 100 km in the combined cycle. The CO2 emission levels are drastically reduced: 106 g/km for the petrol engine and 85 for the gas engine.

It combines the MultiAir, Turbo and downsizing technologies with specific technologies for natural gas power systems, and is the ideal solution for a customer who pays close attention to environmental issues but also seeks cost efficiency. Compared with the petrol version, the engine has added bespoke elements such as an inlet manifold, injectors, electronic engine control system and valve seats made of high resistance material. And it is indeed thanks to the perfect integration of all these components, together with the most advanced technologies - such as the MultiAir system and the turbo compressor - that maximum reliability can be ensured. This is also the factor that ensures that the performances and driving experience are not altered in any way when the car is powered by natural gas.

FCA has been the leader in Europe for petrol-methane dual fuel vehicles for twenty years, with over 700 thousand sold vehicles and a range of six Fiat brand models (Panda, Punto, Qubo, Doblò, 500L and 500L Living), one from Lancia (Ypsilon) and four from Fiat Professional: Fiorino, Doblò Cargo, Ducato and Ducato Panorama.

The natural gas system reduces CO2 emissions by 23 per cent and nitrogen oxide emissions by 52 per cent compared with petrol driven engines.

A compact city car but one with a considerable amount of space, capable of combining practicality and personality: the ideal vehicle for the families of today. And the public have certainly put their money where their mouths are, judging by its performances in terms of sales: 500L has continued to confirm its status as European market leader in its segment every year, ever since it was launched. The Trekking version on display is characterised by two-colour livery and is decorated by the combination of chrome elements with a satin finish - the spoiler on the front and the handle of the boot door - and elements in matte black paint; from the mudguards to the skirts, from the 17" alloy wheels to the front and rear bumpers. Fiat Panda

The Geneva stand would not be complete without the Panda, which has headed the overall sales rankings on the Italian market since 2012 and was European 2016 best-seller in its segment, with a 14.9 per cent share of segment A and more than 190,000 cars sold. The secret of this success, which is continuing in 2017 with sales of 17,900 units in January, lies in an offer always in line with the key characteristics of the Fiat functional family: personality, convenience and simplicity. Ever since it was first introduced, Panda has stood out for its unmistakable personality and characteristic agreeability developed to emphasise its different spirits: city car and city-SUV. These temperaments are united by functionality and simplicity: very compact exterior dimensions, interior space exploited to the max and configurable to all transport needs, a wide choice of engines and interior and exterior colour combinations able to meet every requirement. Finally, a simple range of equipment enhanced by the new UconnectTM infotainment system with Bluetooth and dashboard cradle, which can be integrated with Android and iOS smartphones.

The stand will proudly display the "pocket size SUV", able to cope with every eventuality or route, an object lesson in style, efficiency, agility and compact size. The vehicle in question is the Fiat Panda Cross, which crams all the exclusiveness of the off-road vehicles in higher categories into just 370 centimetres of car. This car is simply one of a kind, because it teams a traction system and technical features which are ideal for off-road driving offering the performance and contents of an SUV, with the external dimensions, efficiency and easy handling of a city car. Not to mention a distinctive style that manages to combine rational design with thrilling driveability.

The vehicle on the stand sports the Gelato White exterior, with two-colour seats in grey fabric and brown ecoleather and a brown dashboard. It is fitted with a 0.9 cm3 TwinAir 90 HP 2-cylinder engine, which ensures power and flexibility on the road. The all-wheel drive car features the Electronic Differential Lock, having been the first to introduce this to the market.

Fiat stand

The stand in Geneva will be welcoming visitors with typical Italian elegance and style. The attractive, flowing lines of the design and its dynamic forms will highlight the cars on display, focusing on the Fiat 500 special 60th anniversary series, the Panda Natural Power and the Panda Cross and Fullback Cross, the ideal cars for off-road use. Duality is a core concept of the stand, a metaphor for the contrasting and complementary features that make up the Fiat brand's emotional and functional world.

A selection of accessories made in collaboration with Mopar and merchandising products will be showcased in a dedicated area. Outstanding amongst these is the 500 line, designed to delight those who like to denote their leisure time in original, exclusive style. The cool and pop products include a sweatshirt with built-in earsets to make use even more practical and a cushion with a built-in speaker that can be connected to a smartphone to play the right soundtrack at all times. And the exhibition space dedicated to the Fiat 500 special 60th anniversary series will be enhanced by the "Fiat 500 Gabsule Collection". Visitors can buy an exclusive collection of bags, purses, beauty cases and key rings designed by Gabs and inspired by the characteristic coolness of the 500, paying tribute to its design and telling its story by displaying snapshots of its iconic details. The "Tribute to 500 anniversary" glasses created by Italia Independent will also be available for the first time: characterised by a traditional, round frame, they are inspired by vintage design, reinterpreted in a modern, elegant key. By distributing informative leaflets and special elements placed around the stand, the public can become acquainted with the products of FCA Bank, the financial company specialising in the automotive sector. The name of the special series - Pista, Italian for track - makes clear reference to the racing vocation of the model and to the one-of-a-kind features of the Abarth Telemetry system. More in detail, the next-generation capabilities of the infotainment system include the possibility of loading some of the most famous racing circuits in the world, like Monza, Spa-Francorchamps or the Red Bull Ring to name a few, selecting them during track sessions, viewing detailed maps and receiving real-time tips to improve lap times. This system allows you to drive without distractions, keeping your eyes on the road with all the controls close at hand. In addition, with the Abarth Telemetry System, you can test your skills on the main international tracks and custom routes.

The Pista version completes the new 595 Abarth line-up, which now includes two body types (sedan and convertible), three trim levels (595, 595 Turismo and 595 Competizione) and as many engine powers and tuning levels, designed to satisfy today's increasingly discerning and competent customers. The distinctive yet affordable 595 version, with its 145 HP of power, is the Abarth entry level model and offers all the standard equipment needed to ensure the typical enjoyment and driving pleasure expected from the brand. The 595 also makes the ideal base for those who want to tune up their car making over it unique. The 595 Turismo and the 595 Competizione express two more distinctive aspects of the Abarth identity. The former, with its 165 HP of power, expresses the typical values of an Italian GT, but in a compact size ideal for urban use. The latter, on the other hand, is more radical and adrenaline-packed. With its 180 HP and racing-derived contents, it is designed for motorists with a passion for performance and uncompromising sportiness. Both versions can be customised and tuned with a complete catalogue of kits and accessories.

The mechanical standard self-locking differential demonstrates the technical excellence for superior road holding. This device is typically found in top-of-the-range sports cars and emphasises the personality of the new Abarth 124 spider. Weights are concentrated between the axles and the engine is installed behind the front axle to guarantee optimal agility and superior driving feel. Sophisticated mechanics and special materials have been used to contain the weight to just 1060 kilograms. This results in a weight-to-power ratio of 6.2 kg/HP, the best in its category. Furthermore, the optimal weight distribution guarantees sincere and exalting response.

The public will be able to admire two examples on the stand. The first has pastel "Turini 1975 White" paintwork and a matt black bonnet that recalls the classic Abarth 124 Rally, on which this was adopted as a measure to prevent glare in the driver's eyes. The other colours available in the range are pastel "Costa Brava 1972 Red" and the metallic "San Marino 1972 Black", "Isola d'Elba 1974 Blue" and "Portogallo 1974 Grey": these names are a homage to the prestigious Abarth rally wins. Interiors are characterised by red and black leather seats, while the dashboard and central tunnel are covered with Alcantara, a technical fabric used in the racing world to reduce reflections in the passenger compartment and increases the driver's concentration on the task at hand.

The second car is an example of the new Scorpione special series, a version designed for customers seeking the essence of unadulterated driving pleasure. The car on display sports a "San Marino 1972 Black" livery with "Forgiato Grey" details. A "Turini 1975 White" version is also available.

The Scorpione maintains all the features of the 124 spider and is characterised by black microfibre and leather seats designed to maximise grip.

Under the bonnet of both models is a powerful, ultra-reliable 1.4 litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine with MultiAir technology. It delivers 170 HP (about 124 HP per litre) and 250 Nm of torque: it has a top speed of 232 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds paired with a six-speed manual transmission. What is more, since the engine sound is a fundamental element of all Abarth cars, standard equipment includes Record Monza exhaust with Dual Mode system capable of modifying the path of the exhaust gas according to pressure, guaranteeing linear torque and power delivery and generating a satisfying, deep roar at the same time. In addition to the 6-speed manual transmission, the spider is also available with the Esseesse Sporty Sequential automatic transmission. The suspension on the Abarth 124 spider uses a double wishbone scheme at the front and a 5-arm multilink architecture at the rear. The set-up is calibrated specifically to increase stability on corners and enhance compression braking. Steering feedback is optimised by adopting a specific sports calibration of the power steering system.

Furthermore, the new Abarth 124 spider is decked out with a host of state-of-the-art active and passive safety devices. In addition to ABS, standard equipment includes EBD, for adjusting front and rear axle brake force distribution to optimise braking distances and guarantee control in all load conditions of the car. Of course, also standard is ESC, for optimal control in all driving conditions, particularly the most critical, in presence of snow, ice or slippery roads. All these devices can be completely deactivated for driving on the race track allowing the driver to exploit the outstanding balancing and dynamic features of Abarth 124 spider to the fullest and enjoy an unadulterated and direct driving feeling.

The Abarth DNA is confirmed on both models also on the inside with an overall focus aimed at guaranteeing perfect ergonomics. The seats, with leather and Alcantara upholstery and microfibre and leather on the Scorpione, are both supporting and very comfortable to hold the driver in the ideal position, as low and far back as possible to perceive all sideways movements of the car. Furthermore, the controls are perfectly in keeping with the sporty set-up of the car: the position of the pedal board, the vertical steering wheel and the short gear stick make for a fully enthralling driving experience. The dashboard features a large tachometer with red background arranged in central position facing the driver and a keyless start system.

Comfort is guaranteed by heated seats, standard on the version with leather seats, and the excellent soundproofing afforded by the noise deadening windscreen, rear window and double-layer soft top.

The latter is designed to be opened and closed with one hand from the driver's seat in a few seconds. Once folded behind the seats it does not occupy space in the boot.

Both cars on show are equipped with the Sound Plus Pack, which includes radio 7" touchscreen and a sophisticated Bose audio system with subwoofer and eight speakers, two of which integrated in the head restraints for a perfect listening experience. there is also the Visibility Plus Pack, which features full LED automatic self-levelling headlights, LED daytime running lights, rain sensor, dust sensor, headlight washer and rear parking sensors.

Conversion kits

The new range of Abarth tune-up kits and accessories will also be showcased for visitors at the Geneva Motor Show. Performance, engine power, safety and customisation in the best Abarth style are the protagonists of this new after-market range. Three conversion kit offers are dedicated to the Abarth 595 and all on show on the stand.

The "160HP Tune-Up Kit" enhances the personality of the smallest Abarth of all and increases engine power from 145 to 160 HP. The conversion also includes Koni front and rear suspensions, Eibach low-ride front and rear springs, Ferodo brake pads and "Abarth Elaborazione" exterior badge. The kit is supplied to the customer in a special wooden crate which hints to the iconic Abarth conversion kit of the past.

The "180HP Tune-Up Kit" for 595 Turismo is designed to obtain the very best performance: from 165 to 180 HP and technical details of excellence, such as Koni front suspensions, Brembo floating front brake discs with red callipers, Ferodo brake pads, "Abarth Elaborazione" exterior badge and new conversion box dedicated to the world of performance.

The "Record Monza Exhaust System Kit" is offered today in a specially proportioned box. The muffler of the Scorpione celebrates Carlo Abarth's speed record at Monza and its powerfully aggressive sound results from the perfect combination of Dual Mode technology with four tailpipes and exciting design.

The new tune-up kits complement the other components that consolidate the DNA of the brand: ultralight Esseesse white and titanium rims, mirror caps, pillar liners and carbon fibre dashboard fascia, gear knobs, kick plates and pedal boards made of technical material (aluminium and carbon fibre). In short, a selection of technical features for Abarth owners to customise their car and enhance its iconic and performing style.

Racing

The new Abarth 124 rally made its surprise debut at the last edition of the Paris Motor Show. One year later, the new car has achieved excellent performance during the tests. The Abarth 124 rally Trophy will be kicking off soon. It will consist in seven Italian races, the first of which will be the Rally Il Ciocco, in Tuscany, from March 17 to 19.

The first edition of the Abarth 124 rally Trophy is joining the new track racing season of the Abarth Trophy, with the Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione and the Abarth 595 OT, and the Coppa Abarth Classiche, for vintage Abarth models competing in rallies. Abarth is still supplying 160 HP T-Jet engines for the Formula 4 single-seaters competing in championships in Italy, Germany, Northern Europe and the Iberia, in addition to the United Arab Emirates. The season is action-packed and will involve all classic motorsport areas, with a clear technological reference to standard production. The entire range has a racing version to underscore the close link between the racing experience and the development of standard vehicles.

With the Abarth 124 rally Trophy, the brand with the scorpion badge is organising a strongly innovative proportional trophy with a car that is highly innovative in itself. The Abarth 124 rally breaks the mould by combining excitement and technology: rear-wheel drive guarantees the spectacle, while the very high level performance is the result of painstaking development, as recently demonstrated at the Monte Carlo Rally which was held in extremely difficult conditions with a lot of ice and snow on the roads. The situation was positively not favourable for rear-wheel drive but still did not hold back the three private drivers who obtained excellent results.

The car is a Group R-GT model and therefore can compete in national and international races. The Abarth 124 rally Trophy counts seven rallies, six of which are part of the Italian Championship. In this way, Trophy contenders may also compete for the new Group R-GT Italian championship title.

The jackpot is very rich with prizes for the absolute ranking of the Under-23's and the teams. All prizes - 5000 Euro for the winner, 4000 Euro for the team and 2000 Euro for the Under 23 drivers - are cumulative. According to the regulation, prizes will be given to the first three rankings, in each race and final, in each category. The real news of the jackpot is the addition of a prize for the best ranking teams with a final jackpot of 30,000 Euro. The Under 23 winner will also be given the opportunity to compete in the 2017 Monza Rally with the official Abarth 124 Rally. Other prizes include an ACI Sport Federal Super Course and a "rally master" organised directly by the Abarth Racing Team. The winner of the overall ranking will receive their own street-legal Abarth 124 spider.

By organising the Trophy directly, Abarth will offer an array of services to facilitate team work to those who sign up: a spare parts service with technicians to provide assistance during the race will be present on the race circuits. A hospitality area with catering and entertainment dedicated to crews and teams will also be organised. Media visibility will be high, with a dedicated press and TV office in addition to activities on the most popular social media.

For more information on the Abarth 124 rally Trophy, go to the racing.abarth.com website or email the Abarth Racing Team at 124rally@abarth.com.

The Abarth 124 rally is the true strength of the championship. It is a real sports car, set up and tuned directly by Abarth and sold race-ready for 140.000 Euro.

The key elements of the car were clearly set in the development brief:

make it light with perfect weight distribution
give it a powerful, reliable and high-performing engine
make it lightning fast cornering with no understeering
ensure outstanding traction in all conditions
give it the fun of rear-wheel drive combined with state-of-the-art technology
make it easy to manage for team and technicians and keep running costs low.

The car fits a 1800 cm3 twin cam turbo direct injection engine. By exploiting a range of selectable mappings, it can output up to 300 HP at 6500 rpm with optimum torque curve, a key element to ensure balanced steering and acceleration when oversteering. Performance is breath-taking, acceleration is scorching and enhanced by a full, satisfying sound. To enhance performance even further, the engine is coupled to a snappy six-speed sequential transmission with shift paddles, while traction is assured by the mechanical self-locking differential.

Rallies put the cars under extreme stress and that is why the excellent mechanical layout of the standard production car has been developed further. The suspension system - front high double wishbone and rear multilink - provides optimised kinematics and is now installed on special subframes that ensure superior mechanical strength and considerable weight reduction, while metal joints guarantee top driving accuracy.

To ensure maximum grip in all road conditions and adapt to the different special stages, the Racing Team mechanics were extremely careful in defining the suspension set-up possibilities, which offer a broad adjustment of the characteristic angles, a greater bump position for difficult surfaces and, above all, hydraulic four-way shock absorbers to be able to configure compression and rebound behaviour as well as response to the high or low frequencies extremely accurately to indulge the driver's feeling.

The first-class mechanics has called for a new generation electronic system both to ensure top performance on the road and to optimise weight and overall dimensions.

With a high level of integration, all the main controls are ergonomically grouped on the steering wheel. In this way the driver can, for example, choose the different calibrations of the engine and of the antilag system or select the traction control mode, from the one designed for fast, grippy tracks to that designed to guarantee peak performance also in low grip conditions.

Perfectly interpreting Carlo Abarth's legacy, Racing Team mechanics also focused on servicing and containing the cost per kilometre to foster the promotion of new talents and allow gentlemen drivers to access the world of rallies. A modern rally car has to be designed not only to ensure top performance, but also to allow drivers, navigators and technicians to rely on a machine that can meet their expectations and adapt to multiple uses and situations. This is the reason why the new Abarth 124 Rally will offer the possibility to choose different configurations and set-ups, spanning from the profoundly mechanical, such as ground clearance, to exterior liveries, to be reminiscent of the unforgettable triumphs of the Abarth brand in rallies the world over.

The car was designed with an eye to facilitating servicing operations on the race track and to cut running costs. For instance, the suspension subframes are arranged for fitting the ground clearance kit with a double arm fixing position. Furthermore, the kit requires specific assembly instead of calliper replacement.

Finally, the SE139 code of the project is rooted in the pulsing heart of the history of the brand, referring directly to Carlo Abarth himself. The abbreviation SE means "Sports" and "Experimental", a direct connection with Abarth's values of craftsmanship and technical progress. The sequential number 139, on the other hand, reminds us that in its 67-year history, Abarth has developed an average of two racing projects per year: an outstanding achievement that few other automotive manufacturers can boast.

The Abarth Trophy on the race track

For the ninth year running, Abarth will be organising a Trophy reserved for Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione and Abarth 595 OT to offer many drivers the opportunity to test their worth on major race tracks in a car that is very spectacular and formative. Seven will be the appointments and the season will kick off on April 2 on the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano Adriatico.

Each appointment will include 40 minutes of free practice, one practice session and two races: the first starting grid is determined by the times clocked in the practice sessions, the second by inverting the first eight standings achieved in Race 1. There are race prizes in collaboration with Michelin and final prizes for the absolute ranking (30,000 Euro for the winner, 12,000 Euro for the second place, 8,000 Euro for the third place). There is no jackpot for the Abarth 595 OT, but signing up is free.

Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione is propelled by a powerful 215 HP turbo engine paired with 6-speed sequential transmission, special ride settings and aerodynamic equipment to enhance its performance.

Seven are the races on the calendar: six on Italian tracks and one abroad on the Red Bull Ring in Austria. It will start on April 2 in Misano Adriatico and end on October 8 in Mugello. The formula consists of two races for each appointment with the tried and tested Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione and Abarth 595 OT (Omologata Turismo) racing together but with separate rankings.

This championship has taken on an international connotation with the presence of many drivers from across Europe, noticeably from Scandinavia and Spain, in addition to a substantial and combative squad from Turkey, which in 2016 have shown their worth. The average presence of the past editions was approximately 20 cars.

The championship enrolment fees (7,500 Euro for Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione) include an array of services: paddock setup, spare part service on the race track with presence of technicians for advice and hospitality area with catering dedicated to crews and team. Media visibility will be high, with a dedicated press and TV office in addition to activities on the most popular social media. With this initiative, Abarth confirms its philosophy of creating racing opportunities for the standard versions of the high performance cars of the brand, which are capable of firing enthusiasm of drivers, on the road and on the race track alike.

Coppa Abarth Classiche

The racing attitude of the grand project involving enthusiasts of the history of the brand is expressed by the Coppa Abarth Classiche, in its second edition this year. The novel fact is that the chosen speciality is rally racing, an area in which the brand with the scorpion badge boasts many international successes at the highest levels both as Abarth and when the Squadra Corse Abarth managed Lancia, winning ten manufacturer's championship titles and six driver's championship titles over the years.

The championship will consist of six races and will be open to all vintage models earlier than 1981. There will be race prizes for the first classified in each group, for a total of three groups. Additionally, there will be jackpots for the first outright winners of each group. Other three special prizes will be awarded at the end of the championship for the first three classified with Autobianchi A112 Abarth. Enrolment is totally free.

The formula of Coppa Abarth Classiche, developed in collaboration with Michelin Italia, is packed with advantages for signing up to events and buying tyre sets for teams.

The F4 involvement

Given the outstanding success experienced in Italy and Germany over the past seasons, Abarth has decided to support the third edition of the F4 Championship in Germany and to reconfirm its involvement in the Italian Championship as sponsor and official engine supplier.

The 1.4 Turbo t-Jet engine with 160 HP, derived from the one fitted on the street-legal 595 and used on the Abarth cars competing in the Abarth Trophies, will be equipping all the cars made by the Italian manufacturer Tatuus again this year. In 2016, forty very young drivers competed in the German Championship and thirty competed in the Italian one. Young Mick Schumacher, the runner-up in both series, is one of them.

Stand

The details of the Abarth stand in Geneva are reminiscent of the feeling of Officine Abarth made of iron girders, rough concrete and metal floor plates polished by car tyres. For the public, it will be like visiting the real workshop of a mechanic who is working with skilfully dedication on an engine. It is Carlo Abarth's heritage, one made of hand-crafted care applied to constant technical progress and performance.

In an exhibition area that hints to the part of the brand, Abarth is reasserting its vocation of being projected into the future and show off all its news: new products, new services and new initiatives.

By distributing informative leaflets and special elements placed around the stand, the public can become acquainted with the products of FCA Bank, the financial company specialising in the automotive sector. The company operates on the main European markets-in Switzerland through FCA Capital Suisse SA-with a sole mission: supporting the sales of all Fiat and Chrysler Automobiles brand vehicles through innovative financial products and high added value services dedicated to dealer networks, private clients and companies. A new tool will be available on all Abarth models starting from this month. It is the financial calculator for calculating the financing instalment according to the configuration of the car. During this process, customers can choose the right financing product for their needs and exploit a handy comparison function. In order to handle any off-road track in utmost safety, the Night Eagle comes standard with the Trac-Lok limited-spin rear differential. This particular differential is a torque-sensitive mechanical unit that works to maintain traction when travelling on slippery or rough road surfaces, such as on sand, gravel, snow or ice. Trac-Lok automatically distributes the available torque to the rear wheel with the most traction, thus helping to reduce wheel spin caused by lack of traction in the other rear wheel.

The Night Eagle is powered by a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine producing 200 horsepower and the 3.6-liter V-6 petrol engine delivering 284 horsepower, both matched to the automatic five-speed transmission. The Jeep exposition - located in Hall 5 - is designed to give a visual identity to the two Jeep families: the right-hand side hosts the display of the "core and fun" one inspired by Wrangler and including the Renegade, both displayed on a natural wood floor. The left-hand side of the stand is devoted to the more upscale, refined one inspired by the flagship Grand Cherokee on display beside the Cherokee and all-new Compass on a premium dark wood flooring.

The different versions of the Trailhawk family will be displayed on a central track that acts as a catwalk and reproduces a mud trail dividing in two parts the exposition area. The track will link the current model range with its lineup of off-road specialists qualified to carry the "Trail Rated" badge: the Jeep exclusive recognition earned by those vehicles which, without additional equipment, can conquer the famous Rubicon Trail in California, which is considered one of the toughest off-road trails in the world.

In a dedicated area of the stand visitors will have the chance to live a unique, Virtual Reality, immersive 360-degrees experience of the new Jeep Compass, thanks to the "Jeep VR Configurator". This will allow the public to touch the Compass model displayed on the stand, but also to interact with the new compact SUV to discover its main features. By wearing the VR headset HTC Vive visitors will be able to see the car reproduced in its real dimensions, choose the preferred trim level between the upscale Limited and the off-road specialist Trailhawk and interact with the selected model either in a urban or an off-road setting respectively. Guests will be able not only to move around the car but also to open its doors, sit inside, open its liftgate to access the cargo area, and configure it by selecting its body colour, wheels' design and interior trim. Four specific hotspots will also deliver detailed description of the model's main features.

The immersive experience with the Jeep VR Configurator is only one of the innovative solutions in terms of customers' experience the Jeep brand is exploring, with more news on the digital experiences front coming soon. Last but not least, in a dedicated corner of the stand, visitors can explore the Mopar area, hosting the full display of spare parts and merchandise. The Jeep brand has always been the byword for freedom, adventure and excitement. The merchandising collection boldly conveys these feelings. Two examples: the dual-function travel bag that can be turned into a handy backpack and is ready for all occasions of use, and the windproof jacket, a technical and fashionable garment with a pattern that surprisingly conceals the grille badge which can be discerned only after a careful look. The Jeep Brand's innovative technological spirit is highlighted by the extensive LED wall areas used for high-impact communication.

PEUGEOT, A KEY PLAYER IN SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY

Present in the electric sector since 1995, PEUGEOT is the only brand in the world to market a comprehensive sustainable mobility offering: electric-assist scooters and bikes and an electric motor-scooter, in addition to personal and utility cars.

New PEUGEOT Partner Tepee Electric: electric takes on a whole new dimension

Presented at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show as a world première, the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee Electric unites the advantages of the Partner Tepee leisure activity vehicle, which have made it such a success since its launch, and the pleasure of driving an electric vehicle. It offers comfort for five passengers with a generous, adjustable interior. PEUGEOT Partner Tepee Electric has been developed for the growing clientele that wants to reconcile electric mobility with a multiplicity of everyday activities, whether just personal or both personal and professional.

Its certified range of 170 km matches the driving practices of the great majority of European motorists who drive a daily average of fewer than 60 km.

PEUGEOT Partner Tepee Electric thus opens up electric vehicles to new possible uses: carpooling with five people or leisure activities for the family, for example, are now compatible with electric mobility.

It will go on the market in September 2017.

PEUGEOT eC03 D7*: high-quality access to the world of electric assist bikes

The PEUGEOT eC03 D7 is an urban and accessible PEUGEOT e-Bike, price starting at €1,199.

Its excellent price-quality ratio is the result of the ongoing improvement of perceived quality of PEUGEOT cycles.

In the PEUGEOT Cycles 2017 range, it replaces the eC03.200, the best seller in recent years.

The PEUGEOT eC03 D7 is ideal for discovering electric assist bikes in a city environment, with its successful specifications.

The E-Going electric engine located in the front wheel is flexible, responsive and reliable. The 7-speed Shimano transmission and the digital screen make the bike easier to use.

The Suntour CRV7 suspension fork with 40 mm clearance provides comfort on city rides and local trips.

The 50, 70 or 100 kilometre autonomy, depending on the battery chosen, is suited for all uses.

PEUGEOT Scooters presents GenZe, its new electric mobility solution

A pioneer in electric mobility, the PEUGEOT Scooters brand is the first to have invested in the segment when it launched Scootelec in 1996, then E-Vivacity in 2011. For this new edition of the Geneva Motor Show, PEUGEOT Scooters displays its GenZe model (Generation Zero Emission), developed in collaboration with GenZe by Mahindra.

This new electric scooter today represents the best of the electric scooters on the market, in terms of both its sturdiness and its autonomy, for professionals and individuals. An offspring of the American pick-up truck, the GenZe embodies this spirit, combining cutting-edge technologies developed at the very heart of Silicon Valley, where it was designed.

It stands out among existing solutions thanks to its removable battery, allowing it to be charged directly at home, avoiding the inconvenience of looking for a self-serve charging station. Also offering a 12-volt socket at the rear of the vehicle, the GenZe is fully recharged after just 4 hours (80% in 2 hours) and has autonomy of 45 km. With maximum speed of 45km/h, this "Generation Zero Emission" model goes from 0 to 45 km/h in under 10 seconds!

Electric but also connected, GenZe follows the driver's lead and offers a fully digital dashboard (TFT technology) to track fuel efficiency information in real time, including the eco-score, showing fuel usage per km travelled. A dedicated application will also allow easier fleet management for professionals thanks to geo-tracking of the vehicle.

PEUGEOT Scooters does not forget about safety, providing led lighting for improved visibility! In terms of ergonomics, the GenZe scooter is equipped with an "exo-skeleton" aluminium frame for optimum protection and durability in operation. It also has a rear storage compartment built into the frame and start-up requires a security code.

The model will offer its driver 4 different driving modes: Sport, Economic, Beginner and Personal. Available in autumn 2017

PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT embodies the inseparable link that unites the brand with the notion of pleasure, through the experience of the autonomous vehicle according to PEUGEOT.

Autonomous driving is the next automotive revolution. All manufacturers will be able to implement this technology. The way in which the brands implement it will be the differentiating factor.

PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT is a station wagon with a timeless style. Active aerodynamic elements finish off the purity of the lines.

PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT, the best of the Internet of Things (I.o.T)

As a world première, an I.o.T. platform built into a vehicle is functional. The Samsung Artik Cloud is built into the vehicle user's cloud.

The driver retains control of PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT at all times. In Autonomous mode, the driver can therefore perform a manoeuvre using the i-Device installed on the central console.

NEW PEUGEOT 3008 DKR: FOR A NEW HISTORIC TRIPLE VICTORY IN THE 2017 DAKAR

Thirty years after its first Dakar victory, PEUGEOT has once again demonstrated its expertise by pulling off a stunning triple victory in the 9,000 km race, strewn with pitfalls, through Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina. At the wheel of their new PEUGEOT 3008 DKR, the Peterhansel/Cottret, Loeb/Elena and Despres/Castera crews flew the French flag high at the South American race.

Just back from the world's most challenging rally-raid, the victorious PEUGEOT 3008 DKR (#300) is on display at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

PEUGEOT 3008 DKR, a technical challenge and a designer's dream

PEUGEOT SPORT, in collaboration with the PEUGEOT style centre, has turned the new PEUGEOT 3008 SUV into a racing prodigy, even more distinguished and high-performance.

From a technical standpoint, PEUGEOT Sport has taken the basics from the PEUGEOT 2008 DKR which already won in 2016, and has developed several key performance elements:

- The suspensions (vibration dampers and geometry) to improve auto performance even further.
- Ease of use of the engine and availability of the torque in all circumstances.
- Adjustment of the engine to the new FIA regulation, for PEUGEOT reducing the air intake flange diameter from 39 to 38 mm, with a loss of around 20 HP.
- Introduction of an air-conditioning system: an important performance factor given that for some stages of the Dakar, the cockpit temperature can rise to 60°C.
- The weight of the car, which remains stable despite some reinforcements and the air-conditioning.
- Considerable efforts have also been made to further improve reliability, in particular of the components of the engine environment.

PEUGEOT's ranking at Dakar:

- 1987: victory of Vatanen/Giroux (205 T16 Grand Raid)
- 1988: victory of Kankkunen/Piironen (205 T16 Grand Raid)
- 1989: double Vatanen/Berglund (405 T16 Grand Raid), Ickx/Tarin (405 T16 Grand Raid)
- 1990: triple Vatanen/Berglund (405 T16 Grand Raid), Waldegard/Fenouil (405 T16 Grand Raid), Ambrosino/Baumgartner (205 T16 Grand Raid)
- 2016: victory of Peterhansel/Cottret ( PEUGEOT 2008 DKR)
- 2017: triple for Peterhansel/Cottret, Loeb/Elena and Despres/Castera (all on PEUGEOT 3008 DKR)

The key numbers from Dakar 2017:

- Kilometres: 8,823 km, of which 4,093 km timed in twelve stages.
- Stage victories: 9 of 10 competed in total, 5 for Loeb/Elena (stages 2, 5, 8, 11 and 12), 3 for Peterhansel/Cottret (stages 3, 7 et 10), 1 for Despres/Castera (stage 4).
- Doubles & Triples: 5 doubles (stages 3, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12) of which 3 triples (stages 3, 8 and 10).
- Successive leaders: Loeb/Elena (stages 2, 3 and 8), Despres/Castera (stage 4), Peterhansel/Cottret (stages 5 to 7, 10 to finish line).
- Maximum speed: 203 km/h (stage 2).

The new design of the 208 GTi by PEUGEOT Sport is presented as an avant-première at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, along with the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT Sport. To better appreciate the potential of the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT Sport, a driving simulator allows fans to experience the sporty ambience of the cockpit and the ultimate thrill of the drive.

PEUGEOT SCOOTERS PRESENTS ITS LATEST NEWS

In addition to the new electric scooter PEUGEOT GenZe,  PEUGEOT Scooters will present two more new vehicles at the 2017 event :

- the new PEUGEOT Metropolis, its "made in France" 3-wheeler, developed and assembled in Mandeure, the birthplace in the Franche-Comté region of the world's oldest 2-wheeler brand!
- the PEUGEOT Belville, PEUGEOT Scooters' new Premium vehicle, extending its Large Wheel range, will also be on display in Geneva.

New PEUGEOT Metropolis, the most technological 3-wheeler on the market from PEUGEOT Scooters.

Generously equipped, PEUGEOT Metropolis is reputed among the most technological scooters on the market, with its features providing driver safety as well as comfort. The requirements of the Euro 4 standard provide a good opportunity to improve its unique performances, through several key improvements. In terms of the engine, this new model boasts the Euro 4 PowerMotion 400cc LFE engine which preserves its performances while offering well-controlled fuel consumption.

These profound changes come with many additional equipment features on the new PEUGEOT Metropolis, such as a new chassis and suspension settings that make it more manoeuvrable (more precise and predictable handling), a Traction Control System which ensures better grip on all surfaces.

Its 13" front wheels, aside from giving a more sporty look, help improve comfort and stability of the vehicle with a larger ground contact.

In order to improve safety, an ABS braking system consolidates the vehicle's braking power, with 23% distance gained at 50 km/h compared with the combined SBC system (Synchro Braking Concept) with which it was previously equipped.

Note that PEUGEOT Scooters becomes the world's leading 2-wheeler manufacturer to offer automatic activation of hazard lights in the event of emergency braking, a safety system triggered beyond 50 km/h in the event of sharp deceleration of more than 6 m/s.

These features are added to the leading innovations that contribute to the success of the French 3-wheeler, such as the Smart key, now supplied in duplicate (for contact-less ignition), the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Management System) visible on the dashboard or the DRL (Daytime Running Light) activation.  Lastly, the new Metropolis is equipped with the latest generation storage compartment from PEUGEOT Scooters, with space to store a full or flip-up helmet and a jet.

The new PEUGEOT Metropolis also offers a dashboard with an entirely modernised design and 3D circles around the speedometer and the rev counter, as well as new red backlit needles.

This model is available in a special matte black and red RX-R, RS and Allure sports version. An entry-level "Active" version, equipped with combined SBC braking and 12-inch wheels, is also available.

Belville, a new Premium vehicle that rounds off PEUGEOT Scooter's Large Wheel range, along with the Tweet

With a nod to the Paris neighbourhood of the same name, PEUGEOT Belville asserts its roots and embodies the pleasures of the city. A highly elegant model, designed to bring the Large Wheel segment (the biggest in Europe) the style it deserves.

A new Premium vehicle equipped with the new-generation SmartMotion engine from PEUGEOT Scooters

As part of its strategy to move upmarket and open onto the international market, PEUGEOT Scooters has designed a new generation engine with the LFE (Low Friction Efficiency) technologies that are already on the range's PowerMotion engines (Citystar, Satelis and PEUGEOT Metropolis). The SmartMotion engine is a compact engine that is virtuous, efficient and modular. Compact and efficient since it is intended for the brand's compact and urban vehicles. Virtuous due to its low fuel usage and low emissions, and modular since it can use Air or Liquid cooling. The SmartMotion engine delivers the best torque/fuel economy compromise for improved driving pleasure.

Belville features the PEUGEOT brand's latest codes

It is aimed at men and women seeking a practical and refined scooter. With its front LED lights, LED turning signals and the "3 claw" rear light expressing the true PEUGEOT identity, with Belville it will be love at first sight.

In terms of safety, this new vehicle comes with the ABS braking system as standard, helping to make it especially secure, and adds the reassuring stability of its large wheels. Its long seat and its adjustable hydraulic vibration dampers provide unrivalled comfort, as do the practical details: storage compartment with space for a full helmet, flat floor, USB port, lockable glove compartment...

This brand new model will come in the following versions: Allure, with a new PEUGEOT top case as standard (opens with the car ignition key), and RS (sports version), each of them offered in 125cc with the new SmartMotion engine with liquid cooling, and in 200cc with the EasyMotion engine (Euro 4).

› ŠKODA presence at the exhibition on a stand area of 2 039 m2 in Hall 2

Mladá Boleslav / Geneva, 3 March 2017 – ŠKODA’s presence at the Geneva International Motor Show (7 - 19 March 2017) will include numerous world and exhibition premieres. Two variants of the bestselling ŠKODA OCTAVIA model range will take centre stage at the stand in Hall 2: the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS 245 with a power output of 180 kW (245 PS) and the revised ŠKODA OCTAVIA SCOUT. The ŠKODA KODIAQ SCOUT and the ŠKODA KODIAQ SPORTLINE will also be unveiled at the Palexpo in Geneva. Furthermore, the revised ŠKODA RAPID and the ŠKODA RAPID SPACEBACK will celebrate their debuts as well as the modified ŠKODA CITIGO. Last but not least, the ŠKODA FABIA will be presented with its new 1.0 TSI engine.

World premiere for the ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS 245 and ŠKODA OCTAVIA SCOUT

The ŠKODA OCTAVIA RS 245 – with its powerful engine and modern chassis technology including electronically regulated VAQ limited-slip differential – promises the ultimate driving experience. The compact athlete, with an increased power output of 180 kW (245 PS), is available as a hatchback and a Combi. The performance data is impressive: from a standing start, it takes only 6.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h, the top speed is limited to 250 km/h and maximum torque of 370 Nm is achieved between 1,600 and 4,300 rpm. Compared to the ‘standard’ models in the series, the sports chassis lowers the body by 15 mm; its rear track is 30 mm wider than that of its predecessor. The standard, burnished gloss-black alloy wheels are 19 inches in diameter. The ESC stability system with Sport mode and the electronically regulated VAQ limited-slip differential emphasise the car’s dynamic character, as do the progressive steering and the optional adaptive Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).

The ŠKODA OCTAVIA SCOUT comes with distinctive characteristics: a robust design in an off-road look, a wide variety of uses, powerful, yet efficient engines and all-wheel drive as standard. Its discrete, robust appearance is characterised by special features such as moulding on the bumpers, wheel arches and door sills, silver-coloured underbody protection at the front and rear, 17-inch alloy wheels, as well as a wider rear track. The standard equipment also includes the Rough-Road package, LED daytime running lights and the C-shaped LED tail lights.

World premiere for ŠKODA KODIAQ SCOUT and ŠKODA KODIAQ SPORTLINE
ŠKODA’s large SUV is a further highlight on the exhibition stand in Hall 2. The spotlight will be on two variants in particular. The ŠKODA KODIAQ SCOUT and the ŠKODA KODIAQ SPORTLINE will be celebrating their world premiere. The Czech car manufacturer is continuing its campaign in the SUV segment with the new ŠKODA KODIAQ SCOUT model variant. The ŠKODA KODIAQ SCOUT comes equipped with all-wheel drive as standard and emphasises its off-road capabilities both visually and through its technological features. For fans of a sporty appearance, the Czech car manufacturer has designed the ŠKODA KODIAQ SPORTLINE as an elegant and dynamic SUV variant. The exterior and interior are both characterised by specially designed features. There is a choice of four engine versions available for the ŠKODA KODIAQ SPORTLINE: two TSI petrol engines and two TDI diesel engines ranging from 110 kW (150 PS) to 140 kW (190 PS). The ŠKODA KODIAQ SPORTLINE provides pure driving pleasure.

Premiere for the upgraded ŠKODA RAPID and ŠKODA RAPID SPACEBACK
The ŠKODA RAPID sets the benchmark for spaciousness amongst its direct competitors. Design and equipment have now been upgraded further. In Geneva, the ŠKODA RAPID SPACEBACK is on show in the particularly sporty Monte Carlo version. Numerous black design elements identify the 4,303-mm-long compact car as an athlete at first glance. Looking at the car’s rear, the longer rear window (now available as standard from the Style trim level upwards) is most eye-catching. Visually, it merges seamlessly into the large tailgate’s upper edge, which is also black.

Premiere for the upgraded ŠKODA CITIGO
The ŠKODA CITIGO and the ŠKODA CITIGO MONTE CARLO are presented in Geneva with a completely redesigned front section and an upgraded interior. The city runabout, available with three or five doors, impresses with a generous amount of space, an excellent layout, a high level of safety, good handling, new, particularly efficient MPI petrol engines and the traditionally attractive value for money.

Premiere for the ŠKODA FABIA with new three-cylinder 1.0-TSI engine
The third generation of the ŠKODA FABIA impresses with a dynamic and emotive design, a large amount of interior space, innovative safety, comfort and infotainment systems‚ and numerous ‘Simply Clever’ features. A new three-cylinder-engine is available with two different power outputs. Its aluminium pistons and the connecting rods are so well balanced that the engine runs almost friction-free, quietly and smoothly. Thanks to an increase in injection pressure to 250 bar, both power variants of the new 1.0-litre engine achieve good driving performance and reduction in fuel consumption of up to six per cent.

Geneva International Motorshow 2017: Chevrolet to Showcase Performance Car Model Range

-    Motorshow debut: Chevrolet Camaro Track Concept
-    Chevrolet Camaro V8
-    Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
-    Chevrolet Corvette Z06

ZURICH – At the 2017 Geneva International Motorshow Chevrolet will present its current Performance Car Model Range and unveils a new Camaro concept car.

Chevrolet Camaro Track Concept

This special model combines the qualities of a fast sports coupe for daily road use with the high-performance features for track use on weekends. The Camaro Track Concept, for instance, has special 20-inch wheels with wider tires, a chassis optimized for fast lap times that lowers the vehicle’s center of gravity by thirty millimeters and more powerful Brembo brakes, plus exclusive design features that distinguish this new concept version from more civil Camaro models.

New Camaro with comprehensive enhancements

The sixth-generation of the Chevrolet Camaro has higher levels of performance and technology, lots of interior and exterior refinements, as well as a smaller and lighter vehicle architecture.

To make it not only the best Camaro ever, but one of the most competitive performance cars available, Chevrolet focused on three pillars of development: Design, performance, and technology.

“Redesigning the Camaro is thrilling and challenging all at once, but the secret is to offer something more,” says Mark Reuss, General Motors Executive Vice President of Product Development. “For Camaro enthusiasts, it retains iconic design cues and offers even more performance. For a new generation of buyers, the new Camaro incorporates our most innovative engineering ideas with finely honed performance and leading design.”

Lightweight architecture and chassis systems
Approximately 70 percent of the architectural components are unique to Camaro. Through extensive computer-aided engineering, structural rigidity was increased by 28 percent, while the total curb weight for the Camaro has been reduced by more than 90 kg.

The Camaro features a new, multi-link MacPherson strut front suspension with Camaro-specific geometry. The double-pivot design provides a more precise feeling of control, including more linear and communicative feel from the quick-ratio electric power steering system. At the rear, a new five-link independent suspension yields outstanding wheel control and reduces “squat” during acceleration.

In addition, the Magnetic Ride Control is available on the Camaro V8 for the first time. The active suspension reads road and driving conditions 1,000 times per second, and automatically adjusts the damper settings to optimize ride comfort and control.

World-class performance from an American icon
The new Camaro provides a faster, more nimble driving experience, enabled by a lighter architecture and a broader powertrain range. Included in this is the first-ever Camaro Turbo engine package, with a new 2.0L turbo at 275 hp (202 kW) and 400 Nm – and which delivers 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in less than six seconds. Even with all this, the new Camaro is the most fuel-efficient ever.

In addition, Chevrolet presents the most powerful Camaro V8 ever, with a new 6.2L LT1 direct-injected Small Block V8 rated at 453 hp (333 kW) and 617 Nm of torque. For the first time, Magnetic Ride Control active suspension is available for the Camaro V8 and costumers can apply an Active Fuel Management (cylinder de-activation technology) for the Camaro V8 Automatic, allowing the car to achieve 25% better fuel efficiency than the previous generation.

The LT1 engine is available with a standard six-speed manual transmission – with new Active Rev Match technology that “blips” the throttle for perfectly timed downshifts – or the Hydra-Matic 8L90 paddle-shift eight-speed paddle shift automatic. When equipped with the eight-speed paddle shift automatic the Camaro V8 is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km (0-62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds.

Each engine has been carefully tuned for a distinctive performance sound. All Turbo models feature active noise cancellation, which uses sound waves to cancel unwanted cabin noise.

Coupe or Convertible
The sixth generation Camaro can be had in either Coupe or Convertible body styles. The Convertible benefits heavily from the new lightweight architecture and modular underbody bracing, which significantly improves performance and handling. What's more, the fully automatic soft top can be operated remotely via the key fob or from inside at speeds of up to 50 km/h (30 mph). The top takes just 20 seconds to cycle both up and down and folds away neatly beneath a hard tonneau cover.

Corvette Grand Sport

With Corvette Racing in its DNA, the all-new Corvette Grand Sport is a pure expression of the car’s motorsports-bred pedigree. In keeping with the time-honored tradition of the Grand Sport launched in 1963, the third Corvette model range complements its Stingray and Z06 sister models.

Like the 2015 Le Mans-winning Corvette C7.R GTE Pro race car, the new Grand Sport combines a lightweight architecture, a track-honed aerodynamics package, high-performance chassis components from the Z06, Michelin summer tires and a naturally aspirated engine.

The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport offers up to 1.2 g in cornering capability with the available Z07 package.

“Racing has been part of Corvette’s essence for more than 50 years, and that track experience has helped us build better, more capable cars,” emphasizes Mark Reuss, Executive Vice President of Global Product Development. “The global acclaim for the seventh-generation Corvette validates that direct link, and the 2017 Grand Sport takes its track-bred technology to a new, exciting threshold.”

Available as coupe and convertible the Corvette Grand Sport is on sale since early 2017 for
€ 94,900 respectively € 99,900 (Germany) or CHF 106,400 respectively CHF 111,500 (Switzerland).

Content highlights for the Grand Sport include:

-    Corvette Z06 high-performance chassis components plus increased track width compared to Stingray (+33mm front, +43mm rear) Standard Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires: 285/30ZR19 (front) and 335/25ZR20 (rear)
-    Specific Grand Sport wheel design: 19x10 inches (front) and 20x12 inches (rear)
-    Brembo brake system with 371 mm rotors and six-piston calipers in front and 365 mm rotors and four-piston calipers in the rear
-    Standard magnetic ride control, specific stabilizer bars and unique springs
-    Standard electronic limited-slip differential
-    A naturally aspirated LT1 V8 unleashes 466 hp and 630 Nm of torque, and features a dry sump oiling system and active exhaust
-    Seven-speed manual transmission with active rev matching and available eight-speed paddle-shift automatic with specific performance calibration
-    0-100 km/h between 3.9 – 4.2 seconds, top speed 260-290 km/h depending on powertrain and aerodynamics package
-    Optional Z07 package with carbon ceramic brakes (394 mm front, 388 mm rear) and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 Run-Flat-Tires

In addition to track-focused aero elements, the Grand Sport also features specific front fender inserts, a Z06-style grille and wider rear fenders – a distinctive design package that gives the car a track-ready attitude.

Grand Sport models are offered with the Corvette range’s full exterior color selection and 3LT trim from the Stingray. An available Heritage package includes hash-mark fender graphics in six colors, with the hash-mark detail carried onto the interior’s brushed aluminum trim. Full-length stripes are also offered.

Corvette Z06 – the most capable Corvette ever

The Corvette Z06 is located at the intersection of Le Mans and the autobahn. A true world-class supercar and the most powerful and most technologically advanced Corvette ever. As the seventh generation of the iconic car from the early 1950s, the new Z06 presents itself with a lightweight and rigid aluminum space frame as well as a supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 engine. Prices start from € 116,500 (Germany) and CHF 128’900 (Switzerland)

The Z06 and the C7.R race car share unprecedented levels of engineering and components, including chassis architecture, engine technologies and aerodynamic strategies. With the Stingray as a foundation, the Z06 and C7.R were co-developed to push the envelope of performance beyond expectation. The 2017 Corvette Z06 is a street-legal race car with an outstanding price-performance ratio and will be offered in coupe and convertible models.

The Corvette Z06’s capability is rooted in its LT4 supercharged 6.2L V-8 engine with fuel injection, Active Fuel Management with cylinder deactivation and infinitely variable valve actuation. The highly efficient engine is certified with 659 hp (485 kW) at 6,400 rpm and 881 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm – making it the most powerful production car ever from General Motors and one of the most powerful production cars available in Europe.

With the available Z07 package, its capability enables 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.4 seconds with the eight-speed automatic and 3.8 seconds with the seven-speed manual transmission. It offers lateral acceleration of 1.2 g and 100-0 km/h braking in only 30.3 meters.

The Z07 package adds adjustable rear and interchangeable front aero components for true aerodynamic downforce, Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires for enhanced grip and Brembo carbon ceramic-matrix brake rotors that improve braking performance and contribute to greater handling through reduced un-sprung weight.

With a choice of transmissions as well as Direct Injection, Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) and Continuously Variable Valve Timing, Z06 is a powerful, efficient sports car.

Designed for downforce

To deliver the levels of grip needed for the Z06’s performance targets, the car is fitted with larger Michelin tires. And to cover the wider tire tread, the fenders of the Z06 were extended by 56 mm at the front and 80 mm at the rear. These extensions give the Corvette Z06 a wider, lower appearance further emphasized by a unique rear fascia.

To harness the cornering and braking grip afforded by the larger tires and brakes, the exterior of the Corvette Z06 is tailored to produce aerodynamic downforce that enhances tire grip at high speeds.
